Funchal is 30 minutes away, and the airport is 45 minutes away.
The Paúl de Serra plateau at 1,500 meters with endless views and popular hiking trails in Rabaçal and Fanal is only 20 minutes away.
This apartment is great for couples or a small family. A crib can be provided upon request, and the sofa bed can be set up for up to 2 children.

**Guest access**
This is a private apartment within a larger house (owners currently away). Guests will have access to the entire apartment and the outdoor space belonging to it. Please respect all locked doors.
**Other things to note**
Renting a car to explore Madeira is highly recommended. We suggest a diesel car for extra power to climb Madeira’s hills. Compact vehicles are best. Parking for one vehicle is provided free of charge.
