### The Space
A charming and characterful traditional Madeiran country house. Tastefully furnished, including a wood burner to provide warmth for the occasional chilly Madeiran winter night, this is the perfect place to relax.

The cottage is a private home with a garden and free off-street parking. Free Wi-Fi is provided. It’s the ideal spot for those who want to experience a traditional Madeiran house but with all the comforts of a modern home.

Located approximately 15 minutes by car from the Calheta Marina, which offers a Pingo Doce grocery store, several restaurants, and two sandy beaches.
Funchal can be reached in about 35 minutes, and the airport in around 50 minutes.

The Paúl da Serra plateau at 1500 meters, with endless views and popular hikes in Rabaçal and Fanal, is just 30 minutes away.

The cottage is perfect for couples, small groups of up to 4 people, and families (a crib can be provided upon request).

**Upper Floor:**

– Dining room with stunning views of the landscape and the Atlantic Ocean
– Spacious living room overlooking the landscape and the Atlantic Ocean

– Compact laundry area with a washing machine

**Ground Floor:**
– Double bedroom with door leading to the front terrace
– Twin bedroom with two single beds and door leading to the front terrace
– WC under the cast iron staircase

**Outdoor Space:**
– Portable barbecue station
– Enclosed garden and terrace

From the garden and terrace, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets in the evening.

### Guest Access
Guests have access to all living areas, including outdoor spaces. Please respect any locked doors.

### Other Things to Note
We highly recommend renting a car to explore Madeira. A diesel vehicle is suggested for the extra power needed to climb Madeira’s hills. Small, compact vehicles are best. Street parking is available for one small vehicle.
